Carbon Dioxide

And then I wake up and feel much better.
I shut down the computer and went upstairs.
I took some nyquil and crawled into bed next to him.
He is a deep sleeper so I could lay my head on his chest and feel him breathe.
I drifted off.
This morning is better.
My head is above water.
I remember what I’m doing here.
I’m enjoying my life.
Not the hard parts, but the darkness of last night made the light of this morning brighter.
